WHY TO USE IT
Why Use Moustache Wax?
A great moustache has a mind of its own. Moustache wax gives unruly hairs direction and flexible control, helping keep them neatly styled and safely out of your mouth. Unlike stiff gels or sprays, wax moves with your face, so you can make small adjustments throughout the day without turning your upper lip into a helmet.
Wax also helps train your moustache over time. When paired with regular combing, it encourages the hairs to sweep outward from the center of your lip. That makes it useful whether you’re maintaining a clean everyday style or laying the groundwork for a full handlebar moustache.
Different styles require different levels of persuasion. Primary Moustache Wax provides a balanced, medium hold for daily grooming, natural shapes, and moustache training. Secondary Moustache Wax offers a firmer hold for sharper curls, detailed styling, special occasions, and those days when every hair needs to know exactly where it belongs.
Most importantly, moustache wax makes your grooming routine more intentional. It keeps your moustache comfortable, polished, and ready for coffee, conversation, or whatever else lands on your calendar. Choose the hold that matches your style, warm a small amount between your fingers, and start shaping.

Why Use Beard Oil?
Your beard may look tough, but the skin underneath still needs backup. Washing, weather, and everyday life can strip away natural oils, leaving your facial hair feeling dry, rough, or itchy. Beard oil replenishes that lost moisture, helping condition both your beard and the skin beneath it while reducing flakes better known as beardruff. Yes, it’s a real thing.
Beard oil also helps protect the hair you’ve worked so patiently to grow. Since damaged hair can’t simply repair itself, regular conditioning helps prevent strands from becoming brittle, dry, and prone to splitting. The result is a beard that feels softer, looks healthier, and has a natural shine rather than the appearance of a neglected tumbleweed.
A well-formulated beard oil does more than sit on the surface. CYHB uses a blend of lightweight, medium-weight, and heavier oils: lighter oils condition quickly, medium oils provide longer-lasting hydration, and heavier oils help protect the hair while locking in moisture. It’s balanced conditioning designed to support your beard throughout the day.

Why Use Dry Oil (Beard Balm)?
Your beard may not need a lecture, but it might need better manners. Beard Dry Oil combines conditioning oils with beeswax, creating a solid grooming product that moisturizes your facial hair while providing mild control. Think of it as beard oil with a little more backbone.
Its thicker consistency makes Beard Dry Oil a solid choice for beards that feel dry, coarse, or in need of extra conditioning. The beeswax lightly coats the hair and helps hold the conditioning oils in place longer, leaving your beard softer, healthier-looking, and ready for the day ahead.
Unlike traditional liquid beard oil, Beard Dry Oil also provides light shaping and flyaway control. It won’t freeze your beard into position like hairspray, but it can help guide unruly hairs, create a cleaner shape, and train your beard to lie in the direction you prefer. It’s particularly useful for new, short, and medium-length beards, although every beard gets to make its own rules.
Regular conditioning can also help protect your beard from becoming overly dry and brittle. While no grooming product can repair an existing split end, keeping your facial hair properly conditioned may help prevent additional damage as your beard grows.

HOW TO USE IT
How to Apply Moustache Wax
Applying moustache wax gets easier with practice, but the basic formula is simple: warm it, work it in, shape your moustache, and let the wax set. Give yourself a few extra minutes the first few times. Your moustache may be magnificent, but it probably won’t take orders immediately.
1. Start With a Clean, Dry Moustache
Make sure your moustache is clean, completely dry, and combed into its natural shape. Avoid applying beard oil immediately before waxing because oils can begin breaking down the wax and weaken its hold.
2. Warm the Wax
Warm the tin in your pocket, with a hairdryer, or in a container of hot water with the lid securely closed. The wax should become soft, warm, and pliable— similar to a tacky paste — but not liquid. Firmer waxes, such as Secondary Moustache Wax, may require a little more warmth than a medium-hold wax.
3. Remove a Small Amount
Use the back of your fingernail or a wax lifter to scrape a small amount from the tin. Start with less than you think you need; you can always add more, but removing half a tin from your upper lip is a less dignified process.
4. Soften It Between Your Fingers
Transfer the wax to your thumb and forefinger, then rub your fingers together until the wax softens and spreads evenly. There shouldn’t be any noticeable lumps before it reaches your moustache. If the wax begins hardening during application, warm it again rather than pulling it through the hair.
5. Work the Wax Through Your Moustache
Begin by applying the wax to the back or underside of your moustache, then work it through the remaining hair. Start near the center of your upper lip and move outward toward the ends, distributing the wax evenly with your fingers. Be gentle, moustache hairs take time to grow and don’t appreciate being evicted.
6. Comb and Shape
Use a moustache comb to distribute the wax and separate any hairs that have clumped together. Shape the moustache outward for a natural look, or roll the ends between your fingers to create curls or a handlebar style. Apply another small amount of wax only where additional control is needed.
7. Remove Any Excess
Check the moustache from different angles and wipe away any visible excess wax. Properly applied wax should control and shape the hair without leaving large flakes, clumps, or an overly heavy coating.
8. Let the Wax Set
Once you’re happy with the shape, cool the wax to help lock everything into place. Use the cool setting on a hairdryer, stand near an air-conditioning vent, or step outside when the weather cooperates. Depending on the wax and temperature, setting may take anywhere from about 30 seconds to a few minutes.
Choose Primary Moustache Wax for a flexible, medium hold or Secondary Moustache Wax when your style requires firmer control.
Then warm it up, shape with confidence, and show your moustache who’s in charge.
How to Apply Beard Oil
Applying beard oil is simple, but good technique ensures the oil reaches more than the outermost layer of your beard. The goal is to condition your facial hair, moustache, and the skin underneath, then distribute the product evenly without leaving your beard feeling heavy or greasy.
1. Start With a Clean, Towel Dried Beard
Beard oil is best applied after washing your beard. Gently towel-dry your facial hair first, leaving it slightly damp but not dripping wet. This gives you a clean starting point and makes the oil easier to spread throughout your beard.
2. Begin With a Few Drops
Place a few drops of beard oil into the palm of your hand. Start small, you can always add more. The right amount will depend on your beard’s length, thickness, and dryness, but emptying half the bottle into your palm is rarely the beginning of a distinguished grooming experience.
3. Warm the Oil Between Your Hands
Rub your palms and fingers together to spread and warm the oil. This creates a thin, even coating across your hands, making it easier to distribute the product without concentrating it in one glorious, but unnecessarily oily, patch.
4. Massage It Into Your Beard and Skin
Work the oil through your beard and moustache, making sure your fingers reach all the way down to the skin. Begin near the roots, then move through the length of the hair. Pay attention to commonly missed areas, including the underside of your beard and the hair along your jawline.
5. Spread the Oil From Sideburn to Sideburn
Use your hands to work from the sideburns down through each side of your beard, then move across the front and underside. Continue massaging until the oil feels evenly distributed. Your beard should feel conditioned, not like it has recently lost a wrestling match with a deep fryer.
6. Brush or Comb Your Beard
Finish with a beard brush or comb to spread the oil evenly and guide your beard into shape. For a fuller beard, combing horizontally before finishing down and outward can help distribute the product through different layers of hair.
7. Add More Only When Needed
After brushing or combing, check how your beard feels. If the hair still feels particularly dry, apply another drop or two and repeat the process. Using several light applications gives you more control than starting with too much oil.
Applying Beard Oil With a Beard Oil Brush
You can also place a few drops in the center of a Beard Oil Brush with the bristles facing upward. Starting near your sideburns, brush downward through the beard using light passes, repeat on the opposite side, and don’t forget your moustache or the underside of your beard. Follow with a comb when needed for complete coverage and shaping.
Beard oil can be applied in the morning as part of your daily grooming routine and again later when your beard needs additional conditioning. Once you find the amount that suits your beard, the entire process should take only a minute or two, which is considerably less time than you’ll spend admiring the results.

How to Apply Dry Oil
Beard Dry Oil delivers the conditioning benefits of beard oil in a solid, easy-to-control form, with beeswax providing a little extra help managing flyaways. The basic process is simple: remove a small amount, warm it between your hands, massage it through your beard, and shape as needed.
1. Start With a Clean, Towel-Dried Beard
Apply Beard Dry Oil after washing and gently towel-drying your beard. Your facial hair can be slightly damp, but it shouldn’t be dripping wet. Building the application into your post-shower routine also makes consistent conditioning considerably easier to remember.
2. Remove a Small Amount
Use the back of your fingernail or fingertip to carve a small portion from the tin. Start with less than you think you need. You can always add more, while removing an enthusiastic handful of balm from your beard requires considerably more negotiation.
3. Warm It Between Your Hands
Place the Dry Oil in your palm and rub your hands together. The heat and friction will quickly melt the solid balm into a smooth oil, making it easier to spread evenly through your facial hair. Continue rubbing until there are no visible lumps remaining.
4. Work It Into Your Beard
Massage the product into your beard from the bottom upward, working against the direction of growth first. Use your fingertips to reach the roots and the skin underneath, not just the hair sitting on the surface. Then smooth your beard back down into its natural position.
5. Don’t Forget the Moustache
Work a small amount through your moustache as part of the same application. However, avoid applying Dry Oil immediately before using moustache wax, since conditioning oils can weaken the wax’s holding properties. Your moustache appreciates teamwork, but not every product plays nicely at the same time.
6. Brush or Comb It Through
Use a beard brush or comb to distribute the Dry Oil throughout the different layers of your beard. This helps remove tangles, spread the product evenly, guide the hairs in your preferred direction, and create a cleaner overall shape.
7. Shape Your Beard
Use your hands, brush, or comb to lightly sculpt your beard and tuck in loose hairs. The beeswax in Beard Dry Oil provides mild styling control, helping your beard look composed without leaving it stiff or unnatural.
Applying Beard Dry Oil With a Beard Oil Brush
For a cleaner, hands-free application, lightly touch the bristles of a Beard Oil Brush to the surface of the Dry Oil and give the brush a quarter turn. Massage the product directly through your entire beard, making sure the bristles reach the skin. The brushing action melts, and evenly distributes the Dry Oil while helping manage flyaways.
8. Add More Only When Needed
Check your beard after brushing and shaping. If it still feels dry or certain areas need more control, apply another small amount. Several light applications provide better control than coating your beard with too much product at once.
With regular use, Beard Dry Oil can help keep your facial hair conditioned, soft, manageable, and lightly shaped. Once you find the right amount for your beard, the application becomes a quick addition to your daily routine and far less complicated than explaining why your beard deserves its own grooming schedule.

Style a More Natural Looking Moustache
For light control with a softer, more natural-looking finish, try Beard Dry Oil on your moustache. Its conditioning oils help soften the hair, while the beeswax provides mild shaping power without the stronger hold or more defined finish of a dedicated moustache wax. It’s a good fit when you want your moustache tidied rather than sculpted.
Remove Moustache Wax
Beard Oil can also help at the end of the day. Work a small amount into your moustache to begin softening and dissolving the wax, then gently comb it through before washing. Since oil can weaken moustache wax, save this step for removal, not immediately before styling unless watching your hard work slowly surrender is part of the plan.
Build Your Moustache Hold
For a shaped or trained moustache, begin with Primary Moustache Wax. Its flexible hold helps direct the hairs outward and establish the basic shape without making your moustache feel overly stiff. When you need that shape to stay firmly in place, apply Secondary Moustache Wax afterward to lock in the tips, curls, or other carefully negotiated details.
Primary and Secondary can also be used separately. Choose Primary for everyday control and training, or reach directly for Secondary when your style requires firmer hold. Your moustache, your rules, provided the hairs agree to follow them.
When to Use Beard Oil vs Beard Dry Oil
Choose traditional Beard Oil when your priority is lightweight conditioning, moisturized skin, and natural shine without added hold. Choose Beard Dry Oil when you want conditioning with mild control for your beard, moustache, or both. Some grooming routines have room for each, depending on the day and the amount of persuasion your facial hair requires. Beard oil can breakdown the beeswax in the Dry oil so make sure your moustache is dry from the beard oil before applying the Dry Oil.
